Maybe bc they're short on time ? It was really short tho maybe something happened in between

It might be because the next chapter is smut so the artist needs more time for it, gained by cutting this one shorter
Ever notice the really good bl when gaining polarity and readers all of a sudden the chapters become shorter? I really wonder if it's the publisher or author doing it to make us want more and keep coming back,and it's working.
