It’s alright bro I’ve read terrible stuff in the past too. I’m sorry you feel so down but at least you know now, don’t support these authors who not only romanticize these horrible situations but also give their audience half baked stories. Also don’t beat yourself up just forget and move on there’s plenty actual good stories out there.

Honestly….i get it. I kept wondering why the hiatus was so long and how they keep drawing it out but I still held on hope like “he’s gonna have a redemption arc any moment now” sort of like BJ Alex but even that story which was slow wasn’t this long. I kept thinking like does the author know how many readers they’ve lost? Like after every chapter the comments always have someone saying they’re dropping it. I understand now that it’s sort of like the author not really respecting the readers time which I think is a fair point, but anytime you say that the plot is too drawn out or a hiatus is unreasonably long (I just dropped one that said it was having a two year hiatus) you get people jumping on you saying that making comics is hard and time consuming and you’ll never understand the process blah blah and it’s the reason I haven’t said anything about it but you are so right. I also can see how this may be normalizing or romanticizing rape but the thing is tho is it’s never shown as pleasurable in any way for Dan or a romantic moment and it’s always hard to watch. Like even Jaekyung knows it’s wrong so it’s not like he gets a pass but as for Dan developing feelings for him after that…. Stockholm syndrome? Who knows. I was hoping he’d have one hell of a redemption arc to make up for it but can you even redeem yourself after that? I’m kinda just here for the ride ig

I don't have a lot of hope for that redemption arc either. I mean yes ofc it will come eventually, but I can't see how it will have been worth half a decade of literally nothing. Nada. Zip. The first 69 chapters could have been blank pages and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
Either way, I hope this story wraps up soon. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

At this point, even a redemption would look ridiculous. What could JK possibly do to make things fair to Dan? Even if he do something that could satisfy the readers, it would be out of character and ruin the persona the author worked hard to build, while continuing to ignore the readers. And looking at Dan feels like torture to me. He's so pitiful, and I’m in pain in every chapter, not even able to enjoy the art. All of this feels unnecessary and pointless if we look at it sincerely.
I've decided to drop Jinx because I suddenly realized it's been four years, and we're still stuck in the same plot. I feel like a fool for purchasing and supporting an author who clearly has no respect for her audience's opinions or their time. As someone who's been reading BL for seven years, this is the first time I’ve felt this angry and disappointed.
