That’s definitely the case, because why else do they have identical mana? Even the kid said it’s only possible if you’re a twin, and even then it wouldn’t be as effective as theirs.
It’s one of those gray areas where it’s like, “oh they’re not related so they can be together!” And, “but they were raised as siblings which still feels off” kinda situation.

I'm calling it now, it's gonna turn out that that's not her "real" brother but instead a powerful being of some sort meant to protect her. What Daryl said about the first time he met them as kids kind of hints at that, and no matter how you look at it, that panel of them forehead to forehead is straight-up meant to look romantic.
