first thing i love about this story is no misunderstanding is dragged across 10 or 20 chapters, the characters are good at communicating their feelings.
second is how they stayed true to their nature, where illian is more masculine but gradually softened but STILL masculine, same gooes for crystal.
third is how crystal is not confused on what he wants like how he wanted to still be called crystal, how he is more comfortable with his dresses than pants but wears them when he wants because he knows he is free to choose what to wear. this confidence came from the people that surrounds him. no one in the petrine castle questions him and just adores him.
totally love how he said that he is not ashamed on how he is. he is his self. his name is cystal.
and fourth is that i feel that the length of the story is the perfect number of chapters, no dragging of plot and unnecessary misunderstandings.
