But biting doesn't assure him freedom. He's chained, doesn't know his whereabouts. What if the bite isn't enough to kill the man? Is the man even alone there? No, he could end up dead. He needs to survive first, then do whatever the plot dictates.

He already attacked him. I highly doubt he cares about any other plan, but to commit violence against his attacker because again due to his temper.
You probably know the character better than, just all I got left to say is, in my mind, if you quite literally rip someone's penis off and they still have the mindset to find some way to kill you, you were gonna die regardless.

All he had to do was bite. Like frfr with his temper am I the only one thinking this? There's no way the author makes the guy chained up some how still make his capture bleed, but when he has the guy's most vulnerable part in his mouth he doesn't think to bite...bffr.
