I wasn't sure if it would be just me, but it really rubbed me wrong for some reason. Her family sucks, there's no logic, do it to make her happy even though they know she doesn't want it? And then she just gives in "because she has to," which honestly feels like how they've raised her, so maybe valid on her part tbh, but doesn't mean I want to see such a bleak outlook. That's how this story felt, a bit hopeless. Not to mention the lack of consent on something permanent, that's so much pressure and kinda gross. I would have respected it more if he didn't do the deed at all and just tired her out then slowly proved himself till she accepted his weird manipulative mark. Oh, and we hate the excessive libido as a good reason for all his weird behavior thing.
