    i'm not saying you're stupid– i'm saying there are ways for you to see their children w/out having one of them be pregnant.

    For example, a lot of the time, people adopt children that look similar to them (it's very eerie). Also, advancements in biotech are being made so that two eggs can produce viable progeny (while not directly relevant in this case, you could argue that this would be possible with two sperm eventually and set the story in the future).
