And chillll, I think it's super hard to interpret texts correctly because most of the cues we use naturally are not present (e.g. body language, facial expressions)
I am chill and I get that, but telling people to calm down when they are clearly just sharing their excitement about something is just rude. I always return someone’s energy. If a person is respectful then I will be too, if they are rude or passive-aggressive then so will I. Also, I obviously know it’s slow-burn too, Im reading the novel. No need to tell me the obvious. Like this comment was clearly a joke, I think the „Highly recommended” part suggested very clearly that I really liked it

I’m reading the novel (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and our FL and ML (especially him) are some of the densest motherfuckers I’ve seen. Dude literally flirts with her ALL. THE. TIME. Calls her adorable, pats her head, carried her cause “it’s safer”, is obsessed about being partners (like cop partners) and says he would be her last, is kinda jealous, AND YET STILL HAS AN AUDACITY TO ACT OFFENDED IF SOMEONE ASKS IF THEY ARE INVOLVED. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. Their chemistry is off the charts, but how can someone have so little self-awareness???
