Why should you feel bad for the first husband? He couldn't even humble himself, besides we're just at the beginning of the story shouldn't you be saving that pity later?
I wouldn't be humble either if my husband took in someone else and fell in love with them because I couldnt give birth.
I agree, people would be so mad if it was at a different pov, I also thought it was weird how ml fell in love with mc that quickly, and I feel that the mc understands why the first husband would feel terrible about this situation, but I do know that something is gonna happen to either show the first husband as a bad guy or as a heart broken guy to pity, so I’m saving my emotions for that guy later
