Bro’s a narcissist. He’s never cared about what Gyuha wants. As long as he gets what he wants he doesn’t care if it disrupts Gyuha, any of his potential partners, or even a child’s home. Of course, once he learns the kid is his, he’ll try to use them as an excuse to chain Gyuha down

It’s not that he magically becomes a family man, it’s that the child becomes a ball and chain to prevent the object of his sexual gratification from leaving. Even when he believes there’s a woman and baby involved, he is determined not to give up his special adult time with Gyuha regardless of whether it’s hurtful to him and/or the child/family he’s making.

Even if he knew everything and still wanted an abortion, it’s not like he can force one, especially since it could cause severe health issues in this case. He will be paying child support and dealing with a baby either way, so he will try to get the most out of it.

God I agree with both of u so bad, And I hate how tops like these are written as if they're perfectly fine and not as if they need to have a MAJORR character development and get better to earn our support as a reader, we're expected to root for them without any redemption arc, not even the character being mistreated and disrespected sees it as such and just lets it slide it's just maddening to read

And ye using a baby as an excuse to trap him into a relationship doesn't make him a family man and isn't a real redemption arc that's just an extension of psycho behavior

Like that guy is supposedly his childhood friend but he walks over his wishes at every single opportunity, zero respect, doesn't listen when he says he doesn't want sex rn and tells him to leave, doesn't listen when he repeatedly tells him not to finish inside, calls over who he thinks is a beta to deal with his rut without a conscience, now tries to keep his claws in a guy he thinks is on a path of marrying someone else with zero regard to what the guy himself might want, the omega is just an object to him to do what he wants and I hate that the omega also goes along with it all, it's like the author is saying it's all fine nothings wrong at allლ(´ڡ`ლ)

MC has to be a doormat because the love interest is usually written like a toxic patriarchal power fantasy (rich, hot, successful, tons of attractive people falling all over them, always get everything they want, etc…) and everything else in the story revolves around making them look less toxic (MC randomly never gets upset, gratuitous plot opportunities for toxic guy to swoop in and “save” the mc, bs redemption arcs, random villains showing up so toxic guy can stop them, the “do it for the child” trope if there’s ever a kid involved, etc… The story and characters are designed to compensate for the misbehavior of the toxic top

110% accurate!! it's all got to be rage-bait at this point.. there's no way anyone actually thinks these types of characters, personality, or behaviors are desirable by any means!
