i had a friend that was addicted to weed & alc (sometimes took other stuff 2) and she legit behaved like this durning the worst time + drug abuse can trigger schizophrenia if ur family has a history of it
It's likely ptsd. He didn't do enough drugs to go into withdrawal.
Ok that makes more sense cause I was like I don't think he used enough to get to the point of seeing bugs and picking at your skin.
also, drugs are hella criminalized in s korea, author-nim has probably never seen a drug in her life. this episode has been brought to you by whatever the korean equivalent is of the "this is your brain on drugs" ads.
(but also yes, many drugs including weed can trigger schizophrenia if there's already a tendency)
