Listen right so in the modern timeline story yk the problematic part where Sungyeon kissed a drunk Hosik and asked him if he hated him now and Hosik answered "No it's weird cause we are both guys". It's makes so much sense after we read the past arc. Cause in the past Hosik never confesses to Sungyeon because of his status and other obvious reasons. That is why Sungyeon was so relieved when he heard Hosik say the the reason he was avoiding him was not because Hosik hated him but because they were both dudes and he was scared. And after that Sungyeon went all out to get Hosik cause of he didn't Hosik would hide it till forever and not even realise it. Love it.
