Late but Kang Hyun, getting dragged into this crazy “dream tutorial” thing where people randomly wake up in this death game. It’s super intense people are dying left and right and they’re told to survive or just… die for real. Everyone gets some kind of power, and Hyun ends up with this ability: Resurrection. Every time he dies, he comes back, but he remembers everything.

At first, he’s just a regular guy who has no clue what’s going on, but since he keeps respawning, he starts learning faster than anyone. Eventually, he beats the tutorial and becomes one of the few survivors.
After that, he enters this Awakened academy where they train people who survived the tutorial. He’s kind of a weirdo there—strong as hell but reckless. He starts doing real-world dungeon raids, and even though he’s still new, he’s clearing stuff no rookie should be able to. His whole strategy is like: die, come back smarter.

As the season goes on, he levels up fast, makes a name for himself, and gains a rep for being this unkillable monster on the battlefield. But it’s not just about action—the story also shows how the constant dying is starting to mess with his head. He becomes more distant, dark-humored, and emotionally numb. You can tell he’s still trying to do the right thing, but he’s clearly struggling with being human when dying doesn’t scare him anymore.

By the end of Season 1, he’s pretty much a known force among hunters. Strong, mysterious, kind of terrifying—but also the only one who might actually be able to take on the bigger disasters that are starting to show up. They hint at stronger monsters, deeper secrets about the system, and shady groups watching him, so it definitely sets up for a bigger, more global threat in Season 2.
