the story is well written but in a bad way

so the “good” brother is a groomer and a pedo who wants to keep mc dependent on him while also leading him on so he can marry a woman (having his cake and eating it too basically), meanwhile the other brother just desperately needs guiding and is actually trying to make mc more independent.

its foreshadowed so early too, like when mc told hyeon he wanted to learn how to shoot but we can see how differently hyeon and hyeok respond. hyeon is controlling and overprotective and tries to persuade mc out of passing his shooting exam, but hyeok readily helps him and even helps him cheat bc mc wants to pass the exam and get out on the field (which i think hyeon doesn’t want bc it means he can’t keep him locked up).

then later on hyeok tells mc to shoot, hyeon intervenes and disobeys orders even though hyeok tells him not to bc mc needs to learn how to fend for himself on the field bc u never know what might happen. literally hyeon trying to sabotage mc’s growth as much as he can to make him as weak and helpless and having to rely on hyeon. it’s disgusting.

Hoping he grows, and we see him end up with the better brother. The groomer is just messed up, like I get it. The espers are very obsessive with their guide so to see his guide as a child with no identity in all sense of the word he groomed him to be dependent on him, but even this side of espers is so messed up with how much they crave their compatible guide. Here's to hoping the one that needs him most wins and the groomer just gets dropped into a pit. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
