Also I know another comment butt I'm seeing a lot of comments being like seme is a manipulative little bitch and ye he isssss. But he ain't the only one to blame lol. Goddamn mc kind of let's him play him like a fiddle in his own right so tbh? I can't hate the seme, I can dislike him a bit buttttt ehhhh BROTHA JUST LETS HIMMMM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIMMM. And let's be honest... if uke actually wanted to get rid of him... dude has the power to break his bones with just one single squeeze, thats how powerful he is as an S class esper, and I'm sure there's other organisations that take care of espers and healers or whatever ya call em alike inside or outside ethe country.

Motherfucker can fight his own battles and take control whenever he wants to but he just allows the seme to so... IMMA JUST ENJOY THE RIDEEE

i get what you mean but even if the seme did do something wrong (like him kissing the mc and stuff) the mc wouldnt hurt him because he have known him and kinda of took care of him since the seme was 9 so i dont think he can bring himself to hurt the seme or anything its like when parents try to hit you hard for something bad you did but they cant bring themselves to do so, thats why the mc kinda let things slide i believe so.. idk. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

MC is a victim of author obsessions with justifying toxic relationships. If you pay attention, it’s not that MC is naturally a doormat, clueless, or weak willed. He is normal and upstanding in every other situation with any other person. He only displays those traits when the seme is doing something creepy or toxic.
If you look into a lot of romance (especially with sex involved) stories with a toxic love interest, it’s really common that the MC will have a personality that doesn’t really make sense within the context of the relationship (a personality that is smart enough to notice obvious manipulation, wouldn’t tolerate abuse, is too assertive to tolerate blatantly controlling tendencies, etc…). The author writes in a Jekyll/Hyde switch for the MC because apparently that’s more appealing than just writing a love interest that isn’t so heinously toxic that you have to nerf your character’s personality to allow the relationship to exist.
