I think what a lot of people don’t realize is this: TJ is devoted to the gang, and to Ian. Ian is only devoted to TJ, not the gang. This is honest of god the biggest rift in their relationship, THIS is the crux of their issues. Ian just cannot handle the life TJ wants anymore, and by extension he can’t handle TJ even though they have such an insane bond. Don’t know how it’ll end up, but if they can get over that big disconnect then the future looks very bright for them.
