Just finished rereading and sameee. The story is very cute but I felt like it was missing some more romance between Latte and Arwin before they got married. Or just a lil more spark and dating moments in general from them.
But also what else happened to Ibelin in the main story??? Like she’s just a side ho forever and that’s it? Where’s more interactions with the crown prince? I feel like his character was really pushed aside and forgotten. WHY when Arwin saw Latte for one of the first times and we see his POV it looks like she has a lot of mana surrounding her?? Could she be mage if she wanted?? Why wasn’t that ever mentioned ;-;

When he saw mana around her, he quickly deduced that it was from the scrolls on her. They are charged with the mage’s mana and inscribed with spells. As for the crown Prince, I don’t think he can be everywhere all the time because he’s the crown Prince. He has things to do before he takes over the empire. Probably why he doesn’t understand why he was the only suitor left for Ibelin. He’s just last to the party unfortunately….and unfortunately married Ibelin before he could see past her facade. He did come off a bit slow. Actually, it looked like he doesn’t spend much time with Ibelin other than for formal stuff so that is working out in her favor!
I finally reread this after a long time. And I've got to say that though I like the pacing I feel like the story had a rush ending. Nothing was really answered and I was left confused.
The amount of side story is nice, but I would've liked it more if they gave that much effort into the ending. It was going so good. So many plot holes with little to no explanation.
But it was nice to reminiscent and reread this story again. This was my coping mechanism.
