It is his ex who caused the debt but it’s not the actor but Jaeha, there’s leader of the boy group FLOW who showed up early on asking why MC hadn’t replied to his message. The actor wasn’t the cause but he was a bystander that was aware to an extent though actually not that much.
By the way the reason for causing the debt was petty af. It was out of inferiority complex / jealousy because of how good looking and talented OG shihyun was. He knew OG shihyun had a crush on him so he pretended to become OG Shihyun’s bf. There’s more too it but it’s been a while so I don’t remember everything in detail ╮(￣▽￣)╭.
