Reputation mostly , siding with a rebellious group,though they are right is considered a crime . His sister got less time because of her brother and his connections and she did not publicly stand with the group where as Madelyn's name was in fking papers. well ml did try to help her but at the cost of a life

Anybody wants to explain? I don’t get the part where they are separated. Like, couldn’t he wait for her for 6 months? Why was that he had to leave her after confronting her at prison?
