Definitely a good read for anyone looking for something simple and more realistic. Could have used a bit more of that hook factor in some way, but still good as is. I'm personally not a fan of the personality and reasoning of the love interest but all in all it's a decent story. Has it's negative aspects in very small ways here and there but it's still a good read.

Love seeing actually abusive parents get reported. I think the mother should be send to prison as well tho, given she WAS around when the boy was abused. That bitch is just as guilty for not protecting her child. So fuck her. :D
