"What was I expecting" "why won't he get him help" "this is just disgusting"--
Have you been reading with your eyes closed? I specifically picked this up 'CAUSE it's fucked up and unapologetically so. We been knowing since ch1 that this was gonna be all kinds of toxic. So why are we now expecting the current events to be resolved within a chapter so they can "live happily ever after" lol

If I started a series, saw how it was going in a direction I didn't like within the first couple of chapters I would promptly drop it.
To continue to subject yourself to something that could last for 30-200 chapters is nothing but sheer lunacy and I'm tired of ya'll making excuses for it.
If you were eating something that tasted disgusting to you would you continue to eat it and cry the entire time or would you stop and simply eat something else more enjoyable??

that comparison between eating and reading something needs to stop that’s just stupid and not at all the same☠ and like i said before they might’ve heard something different somewhere else such as “it’ll get better” when u hear things like that about something it makes u want to get to that point until u can’t take anymore and just drop it so it’s not “excuses” it’s just how the brain works.

No, it's not a bad example 'cause it dumbs it down to a simpler point for you people to digest. But here's one that is closer to the same medium as manga/hua/hwa; if you're watching a show or anime series for about 5-10 episodes but you still don't like it or it just isn't your cup of tea would you still watch it? Would you potentially waste what lil time you have left on this planet subjecting yourself to something you can't stomach or bores you?
I can't stand live action chick flicks or romcoms. If I started a series only to realize it's one of these things I'd stop and go find something else I'll actually enjoy.
You guys will read something for 30+ chapters whining and bellyaching the whole time that everything is disgusting or horrible or how you wish the mc would end up with the soyboy second ml. Ya'll do this and think it's some sort of God given right that those around you, who are actually enjoying the material for what it is, just put up with your incessant whining.
And lord forbid anyone suggest you move on to another series for your own sanity. Then all of a sudden it's a personal attack and "everyone has their right to an opinion." Well, newsflash, opinions are like assholes; everyone has one but most of the time they're best kept to yourself.

it is though, one u try a food u don’t like you can see the ending in that very moment so u can automatically choose to quit because there’s no hope in it getting better. with shows and books it’s completely different, they change nearly all the time and may suprise you. there can be moments that just before you’re about to drop it something sucks you back in making you want to continue. people are allowed to read things they don’t like that’s literally how you figure out if you like something or not. if you don’t like the “whining” and peoples opinions then you can simply not read comments where it’s ALL about opinions good or bad. Nobody has to keep their opinion to themselves just because you don’t like seeing it. if you don’t like seeing them then stop reading them. it’s better to let your opinions out on small stuff like this instead of just holding it all in it’s not actually affecting anyone and if it is affecting you today then oh well you’ll be fine the next day this is the internet you can get off anytime.
At the people thinking this wouldn't somehow become more fucked up given the whole premise of the series lol
Like, yes, they apparently have a "happy end", but the ending is just that. The whole fucking journey has been nothing but one long psychotic roller coaster lol even if they do get a "happy end" is it really that? After all the trauma, abuse, stalking, toxic dependency, drug abuse and idolizing is it really a "happy" end lol
