It's difficult to check when the people who were missing are those who have no one, and of low ranking. It's the same in reality. Besides, he's always in the forest and divine beasts should not interfere with human affairs as per their rule.

That's estbd early on that he is in divine forest. What about his Duchy & his vassal? Isn't the other kingdom also run by someone like him, & humans who aid him similarly. That is my point. Its not the just the spirits!
How incompetent is Eldaran that another kingdom has to tell them something as simple as the fact that there are too many missing people & they have been sacrificed :(
