    That’s actually more realistic. Only in movies and shows do you see cops/military training for headshots. Most actually are told to avoid headshots and instead aim for the torso, the area with the most body mass. Headshots are more likely to miss especially given most real shootouts don’t have a stand still target. It’s not like the movies, a shot to the chest will stop 99% of people. Seems this author did their research.

    huh... i was told (basic gun training - not a cop,just someone with a licensed gun) to aim for the thighs/calves while avoiding the back of knee bc there's a higher risk of bleeding out if shot in torso and bc an inexperienced shooter is more likely to accidentally hit a vital organ
    i said the headshot part bc (stupid reason, i'm embarrassed) there was a point for the head

    Maybe that’s normal on a gun range. But law enforcement/military there is no such thing as warning shots or non lethal shots. You’re trained that if you put your finger on the trigger, it’s intent to shoot to kill. And with Jake/Jay’s background it makes sense he’s training this way.
