i googled it, didn't spend too long, but nothing showed up for cats, so i don't think cats even knot. that's dogs. which can take from 15 to 30 minutes. and another source said half an hour to upwards of an hour, but usually less.

    Cats do "knot" but it's not called knotting. It is very similar to dogs, a male cat's penis inflates and spikes at the head of its penis. Imagine a pufferfish before and after it puffs out its spikes. Pretty brutal.
