Lee Yeon was lucky because all those visits while he was unconscious actually works in her favor, athough it wasn't just guilty that she felt. She also feels disappointed for all the longing thaf Kwon Chae Woo shown to her, thinking it's because he's sick. The doctor explained it well because this set up the tone for their entire relationship. He will be practically tied to her for the rest of his life. It's his karma honestly for trying to kill her.
