I wasn't really thinking he got off literally lol, but I did think he got some lowkey perverted satisfaction from her suffering, he also has unwavering faith in her "skill", since he doesn't fear death (priest better pray this is not some multiverse with separate timelines lol, personally I don't think it is, but imagine it was all for nothing). Anyway now I feel like I should read his dialogues again with this new gained knowledge, ready for another mad trip oh boy
I read this when it had like 20 chapters and my favorite Character Was the gloomy fiancee, what happened to that guy? I lost interest on the story but I kinda want to know what happened since he wasn't the male lead
