About the misfortune I don't know about, maybe a forced red string is stealing his fortune, bc there's something bad about the forced red string that yeon couldn't read or the misfortune is bc they are not together

Im not so sure about this but i think the reason why the quests haven’t ended yet is because they might not end up together. And because of kihoons misfortune of losing the one’s he call precious to him, there might be a little drama. And then the girl comes around and suddenly they had a slight connection of the red string. So i think that because of kihoons misfortune, yeon might be destined to the girl.
