basically omegaverse follows the rules in canine nature - hence the heats and specifically in this one, animal traits.
But in every omegaverse we have the classic Alpha and omega dynamic/nature.
Alphas can knot and it usually only happens in their rut (equivalent to the omegas heat, mostly less often). This means whenever they reach the hight of their rut, or climax, the penis‘ base will flare, causing the shaft and the whole knot to „get stuck“ inside the partners anus (or vagina for that matter) like a plug. It’s a thing that actually really happens in the animal world, google it haha!
The knot basically makes sure that the semen will stay inside and pregnancy will have a higher chance to happen.
I have a dog and studied what knotting is and it basically is what it is in the scene showed lol but usually the one receiving it will receive sm pain, first the penis of a dogs erect and then inserts and after something at the end of a dog's penis swell then it sorts of locks up both dogs basically not separating them until it cools down so idk how in the scene they got separated when it haven't even calmed and also during the lock stage that's when the male dog ejaculates, so far that's all i know.
