First of all, MY kid would NEVER have been put in this situation.
Second, I'm not a neglectful, abusive mom who resorts to mutilating their kid when things don't go my way.
I wouldn't dump my kid on everyone else and their mother's doorstep just cause I didn't want to deal with them.
And I sure as shit wouldn't be chasing money and power, making it a priority in my life over MY CHILD!
And hopefully I can say that ur not the type of person to even think about doing that to a kid, much less ur own kid. (I could be wrong)

The person she passed off her son to kill himself in front of the kid, he stayed in the room with the dead body, leaving him in a depressive state, by which he now wants to kill himself, AND THE FIRST THING SHE DOES IS FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO PASS HIM OFF TO!!!
No "Hi, son how have u been?" no "I'm so sorry u had to go through this" None of that. she didn't even care to thread lightly around him at this sensitive time in his life.
The only reason she passed him to her so-called "brother" is because she thought he would be the best place TO HIDE HIM!
Not rehabilitate him, not help him through the depression, keep him safe, NONE of that, her only purpose was to hide her estranged child so she wouldn't be in her father's bad graces.
She has never once treated him like her child or even with an ounce of respect and love, right down to the very end of the manga.
And get this when he was making a recovery SHE WAS THE ONE THAT CAME AND FUCKED EVERYTHING UP! Her messing with his head is what triggered him in his already fragile mentality to break down, which resulted in him trying to off himself more than once!
What's worse is the first time she did it ON PURPOSE! Just to prove a point, so she could gain control of the situation and rip him away from his only safe space and support system.
And what did she do when she got her grubby paws on him, she fucking locked up her "son" in a mental facility and cut out his womb because she didn't approve of the choices of a child she didn't raise whatsoever made.
I am 1000% convinced with the way things were going if she didn't fuck with them at all Soo-ha would have made a full recovery.
I mean brother calm down... what I'm saying is, although i do agree on most things that you've just said, i still believe she care for her child, not in a manner most of us agree with but had to take in account.
Let's go one by one, It was a teenage pregnancy with the man she once loved, so she didn't left her child with anyone but the person she knew, who changed over the years... she should've comforted him after witnessing such a gruesome scene? Yes but she was juggling with soo much
Her brother and She did share the same father so, you can call them step siblings but they are related... and the age gap of 10 years is alot, for a young kid like him.
Knowing how big of an asshole his brother was in the start and how he treats others, her reaction made complete sense... of wanting to take away the kid and send him abroad.
As for the metal hospital part, there is no justification, the surgery i think made sense( ik you won't agree or maybe I don't either idk man, i won't want him to suffer ),as for taking away the child and giving him to caretaker was the right decision at that time cause uke wasn't in his right mind.
And lastly he wasn't recovering when she met him again at the cafe, he thought of himself as a prostitute to satisfy seme needs... so saying she did anything to worsen his condition would be slightly incorrect .
By the end, when they last met, i do believe although uke resented her, and her methods were indeed wrong, she did what she could in her power to make things right. She could've done a better job? ABSOLUTELY... but idk, we were the ones who have seen those tender moments between seme and uke through third persons perspective, she only had what was being offer to her. She didn't witness thier story, we did, so we think she was sabotaging every progress but that wasn't the case.
And tbh i do regretted making that comment and came back to delete it afterwards but it didn't work. I'm sorry, it's just that it's the only thing I'm good at, making excuses for others bad behaviour yk. I'll work on it, I'M SORRY :)
