He’s at risk of being executed as an omega. It’s their kingdom’s rule to never let an omega become an heir let alone a king because of a past omega ruler who was tyrannical. Ettiene as an omega (forbidden) + hid that fact a secret (treason) + being on the side of his mother (house herace an aggressive enemy of the royal family) are more than enough to suspect him and doesn’t change the fact that he’s an accomplice. He would be subject to trial and most likely still get punished even if he was manipulated into it. The kingdom’s noblemen especially those who support the king and rishar will then basically have all the permission to investigate everybody involved in the house herace schemes and at this point theres an incredible amount of crimes there and that would leave no excuses for anyone including Etienne. They’ll all be sent to execution even and who knows what Etienne’s mother, someone close to him and has complete power to harm him, would do if he laid out the dirt she’s been doing.
