Delayed answer, but it was for revenge at the start before he accepted being the vessel for Chaos. When he learned his masters sacrificed a lot for him to hold control over Chaos, his plans changed. He still will obtain his revenge, but his goal is to gather those that are linked to his three masters and help them stand. He's already helped two groups and combined them. His main goal is to find his master's to help them as well.
He in a way had grown mature in the time he spent in the suspended space before taking in Chaos. A character not solely hell-bent on revenge. A refreshing change.
