U right but I'm mainly calling out the people that defend noncon in yaoi cos apparently male victims aren't real victims? Like how SA is romanticized when it happens to a man but when it happens to a woman, evb and their mama goes batshit crazy. It's just a crude lack of empathy cos if it's a girl you can relate to her and feel the fear, but when it's a boy all of a sudden it's fiction? Totally agree, hate to defend the male populace BUT a lot of the time the people most dismissive of male victims are other men :/ men only care about male SA survivors when they're trying to disregard women SA survivors experiences.
Victims are victims no matter their gender and I agree double standards are bullshit
