Specifically this manga (strictly for this manga so do not get it twisted), there was nothing sexual between a child and an adult. This manga literally draws the line by stating that the marriage is 1) political and 2) no funny business is allowed until ML is 18/an adult. MC never states that he wants to have a sexual relationship with the ML. All the MC ever expresses pre-time skip is admiration. The first few chapters establish that ML is seen as a leader by everyone - even his oldest brother realizes that ML is going to be a great king because of his leadership skills and his love for his country. On top of everything, the ML sees the MC not as Omega, but as another human being. So MC admires and cares about the ML, that is not sexual. If that is sexual to you, you literally should not be in the room with any of your heroes or you'll want to fuck them ig.
The kiss was ceremonial and the MC doesn't lust for the ML at all during that time either. When the MC hears ML died, MC goes through mourning bc he cares for ML. After the time skip, MC focuses on helping the country, so there is literally nothing sexual then either. Also grooming is a very specific term for an adult molding a minor into someone they want to fuck/date, you can't groom a seemingly dead child you never talked to for 8 years. Also also, the time they spent together pre-time skip is like a few months at most and for part of that they avoid each other, so they don't even interact.
I have literally heard and seen manga with actual adult/minor relationships. Those manga are everywhere and I can assure you I know how to spot them because they don't look like this manga. And like you don't have to like this manga specifically either, hate it all you want, just truthfully hate it. Does the forced/arranged marriage between an 18 yro and a 10 yro disgust you? Then sure that is valid! It's actually wrong how both are pushed into this arranged marriage! Did the MC groom or fuck a child (be a pdf)? No! Nothing in the manga itself shows the MC lusting for a child. Are you still uncomfortable with the MC and ML getting together when the ML is 18? If yes then yeah, age gap relationships are not everyone's favorites! Maybe I used haters in the heat of the moment, how about critics?
And just to put it out there, in real life I hate child marriages, I would be wary of newly 18 year Olds dating older adults, and I hate pdfs. I look back to stories I've read and think, as I child I was fucked up for reading some of these fucked up mangas. Idk, have a nice day though ╮(￣▽￣)╭
