What I really hate about his character being so twisted is that it only happened so for the mc to choose between them. He really don't have to choose but if it looked like he have a choice and xinlu is more crazy the ml will looked more innocent
The fact that Xinlu is crazier than Ilay is not something I had on my bingo card. I knew that he had a fire to him even when he was in his chibi form before he had a growth spurt halfway through his twenties (I assume) but I thought it was the "I'm obssessed with you so much that I would imprison you" and not the off the wall "I'm so obsessed with you that if you won't come with me willingly I might just kill you and keep your corpse in my room and not even allow you to leave me after death"....I might have morbid tendencies but I immediately thought about a decomposing corpse next to him and then I thought about him being mummified and having his organs removed for preservation....and I'm not sure which one is more disturbing: the decomposing corpse or the mummified remains.
My brrain is just doing too much...
