I think that too, it's a personal preference, the author loves slice of life. It's a choice. Everyone is saying Chinese censorship Chinese censorship, I think if there wasn't Chinese censorship, the author would still choose it that way.
I just don't get why old xian can't push their relation any further. I know that the censorship is fucked up, but I feel like tian and are always "improving" in some way while they aren't. I still remember the Kiss! And I would love to see more lovey dovey or flirty scenes, cause it feels more like a bromance than real romance for me atm. I'm not sure I explained well, I just really wanted more development. Anyone under the same impression?
