Tell me why itsuomi gets to be an adventurous backpacker with a complex backstory and flashbacks from his high school life while yuki just gets to be deaf? There are so many complexities related to yuki that could've been explored. I feel like her whole family backstory as well as the friendship with oushi and his sister was just so flimsily explored. She has no hobbies? No friends from her department? She doesn't study? It appears that the author doesn't like yuki, at least no as much as itsuomi
Why take it that way? I think of Yuki as a regular girl, that it's deaf, who led a pretty normal life and whose world is starting to broaden now that she's at uni plus even more with itsuomi. Maybe I'm too optimistic but I don't see anything wrong with that
