dude his character is interesting af idk what more to tell you, he's been clearly battling his own demons and covering that by acting like a dumbass and that's what made him interesting to me in the first place, his backstory was also good and i enjoyed reading more about what happened to him

yeah, I'll never understand those exaggerated reactions. Coming to understand why a character became like that doesn't mean you have to change your mind about it, you simply know the reason and that's it. No one said you have to forgive or forget the bad things they have done.

I have nothing against a character who is bad and they have a redemption arc. . .as I stated his his back story was tragic and the fact he had a connection with one of the demon lords was interesting. If it was a regular book that’s not surrounded by smut sure but that’s not the case. Ben raped and sexually harassed the MC on multiple occasions. Even if Ben is being controlled by the story; regrets his choices and wants to redeem or whatever won’t ever changed the fact he raped the Mc. I just don’t fuck with rape. If it was anything other than rape I wouldn’t care go get your revenge sir, if that means you gotta kill. . .hey man go for it. I know some people will say it’s just a character but I really really despise rape.

I mean if he's your favorite character, I don't care and I'm not gonna complain about it. He ain't my fav, well he was in the beginning until it started to take a dark turn for his character. A huge surprise because I didn't expect it. Tbh I'm glad he isn't the endgame, him and taek don't have anything in common and I don't think it would be weird. Idk it just wouldn't be a good pair up IMO but to each their own. I love argio and taek together, they work and you can see the attachment and love there. Unlike with Ben, I felt like there wasn't any type of chemistry besides pity, some anger from Ben, maybe some jealousy and angst.

Yeah no I also don't think Ben should be endgame, that's why I said I'm all up for Argio lmao. I just like Ben as my favourite character, not because I condone his actions but because I find him to be an interesting character.
