Nahh. Just my two cents, decorum flew out the window when he went behind her back about getting chained to the palace via engagement like that. He knew it was going to get brought up and he had so much time to tell her beforehand but instead he just kept her in the dark and let her get blindsighted.
ʅ( ᐕ)ʃ so why would she bother considering his standing when he didn't even bother with her feelings or even consent about the whole thing. Also I'm willing to bet the princess probably knew about it too.
My sincerest apologies if I come off as snarky or something. I mean no offense. Just not a fan of 2nd ML.

True true. Tho, they already put her in the tight spot by giving her all that attention to begin with. She's a commoner with questionable background suddenly hanging with 2 prominent figures and is now given the blessing by the king to get engaged to a prince. It's good that she aired it out because atleast people would think that she knows her place or something by not accepting a royal marriage. I think. XD
She knows their standing in society and she deciedntk make a scene after both of them asked for her to discuss it later. No matter that issue it would have been better for her to atleast go in the hallway like have some decorum everyone dont have to know your business
