The dad doesn't mind, the sister wants to take everything from her so she won't listen to her. The people around fl probably don't see it as a problem. So what can she do?

honestly, if i really think about it, i don't expect her to do anything, i just expect her to acknowledge how messed up her sister's route is, because if she doesn't then that means she doesn't think this is weirdly pedophilic and messed up. i get that this world/society doesn't seem to find these relationships pedophilic in nature, but she grew up in a society that DID think that way. like how is the author going to paint her with the backstory of a modern woman who had a lifetime of modern ideals, and then not have her acknowledge how fucked up it is for her sister to be encouraged to marry an old-ass man who is her older sister's partner? because i was completely okay with the idea of hating the younger sister who IS entitled and a bitch, but i'm just so disturbed by MC's internal dialogue that doesn't seem to acknowledge the grooming aspect of their relationship. if she grew up in a society where teenagers aren't seen as children and rather as adults with the brain development as one, i would've been way more lenient on MC for holding her sister accountable like she's an adult. but her sister isn't an adult, and MC should know better. like everyone kept saying she stole her fiance, and yeah she did, but also like, that is a full-ass dude who is currently shacking it up with a kid, and the fact that MC doesn't really ever think from that perspective at all literally makes me so distressed. i don't expect her to hold sympathy for her sister or to not see her sister as her personal villain, and i don't care if she hates her sister either- it's the fact that she had a whole lifetime growing up in a society that already criminalized pedophilia and grooming, and doesn't really seem to see her sister has a victim of either of thse actions. like i'm bothered by this because i think it reflects what type of character she is, someone who doesn't see a minor being groomed by a full-ass adult as a victim of that relationship. because you can be a victim and be a horrible person, but from her mindset she only ever really sees her sister as the main antagonist and her partner as collatoral of her selfishness, rather than the two of them having full autonomy in both of their actions, and her sister as a child and therefore the brain, hormonal, and functioning of a child.
im also realizing this is long, and im sorry LMAOO. it makes me seem super heated/intense, but tbh, i'm just a rambler so half of this is just me repeating the same ideas rip
