I honestly just feel bad for both sides...

Like their communication is really shitty and it's entirely on one side, Mc is pretty much talking to a closed of wall and unlike us he can't read his mind or see his past which gives a pretty good explanation to why he's like this. I don't blame him for not wanting to say the words that in his mind would mean an end to their relationship, I don't blame him for not understanding what difference those words make for Mc, it's not nessesarily his fault. He's a child trying to protect himself from being hurt and abandoned the best way he can, but I feel bad for Mc because he can't understand if there's no communication and sadly he's stuck with a guy who can't express himself. It's just sad overall so I feel bad for them both

He is not a child. It might be an explanation, but it can no longer be used as an excuse for bad, at times violent, behaviour and abuse

I wasn't excusing anything all I said was I felt bad for him, I genuinely hope he gets the help he needs to work through his issues and feel bad that Mc has to deal with him the way he is till then, I want to understand him but that doesn't mean I agree with what he did
