My take is the MC has been controlled his whole life and sees the ML as his only way out- either his wish gets granted, or he's eaten, and he's in a bad enough way that he actually calls death a kindness. This chapter was pretty much just him going 'well if Snakedaddy won't do what I need him to, & everything is going to suck anyway, might as well take whatever I can get.' Which is, unfortunately, one of the more sound attempts I've seen to use the situation to further the plot (and not something I've run into without a psych tag since it's dark af.) We've gotten to a place where Lord Mugo has acknowledged his attachment and I'm guessing will the turning point for our MC seeing some intentional kindness from him, instead of only being used (for his body, as a playmate, and as a servant/whatever glasses!Mugo sees him as.) Not like the ML was about to have any internal epiphanies to get him there otherwise...

Snake daddy lmao
Did he actually think those ghosts were all Mugo or he had an inkling that it wasn’t but is like ‘whatever’.
Also was he in control or not because he seemed to be in a weakened state, probably the latter as the ghosts may have done something to weaken him.
I am not sure how to feel about glasses Mugo. His personalities, at least the jerk Mugo, seems more open about being an asshole so we can kinda trust who he really is..
People saying what’s the difference between MC being raped by the ML versus the ghost dudes. That’s not the point, the point is MC being raped AGAIN and the way it was glossed over so easily.
Obviously the ML isn’t any better but the whole issue is MC being raped again and showing him feeling good as a victim. None of that was necessary, I think author just wanted to show dp by ghost fantasy but cmoooon!!
Full Volume still better.
Also who are those ghosts again? And what is their purpose for pretending to be Mugo’s personalities and raping MC?
