She's an illegitimate child if I remember correctly, that's why her hair is pink. As for Damian, they where introduced wwhe both young , and it seemed like he just didn't like her right from the beginning. There hasn't been revealed any other reason for disliking her yet.

beat his ass ML!!! also i have such complicated feelings about damian, like i feel like we need more context for how MC became the dukes daughter first and how much he knows. isabella never knew so unlike damian she truly has thought of her as her sister the whole time(which like, I LOVE that we don't have antagonistic step/adoptive sisters this round), but damian apparenly knew from a very young age. but again, what exactly does he know and how much has his parents influenced his own thoughts about it from a young age, or what misunderstandings could've occured. bc i feel like we're missing something. it could also be bc isabella is an awesome sister I'm hoping for damian to just have a bunch of twisted misconceptions and they can all be happy siblings together in the end
