I'm sorry, but this "dilemma" of her's is dumb. If she is really concern about her "use" then talk to sion. She's unnecessarily burdening the staff. If she really wants to do something and be of help, talk to the owner of the estate then. Sheesh.

Exactly. Nobody wants to lose their job because of her. I know she means well but she's embarrassing herself. A simple chat with her friend the owner of the estate, will suffice.

I see where you all are coming from, but also she's been a nobel lady all of her lives. She never succeeded in running away and living an ordinary life. This is a very logical outcome for her to think about and for why the maids and everyone is rejecting her. Yes she could talk to Sion, but there's a sudden power shift, and she probably wants to find a solution herself rather than bother Sion. Not the best solution, but a reasonable one to think of when you're in that situation. She also probably thinks that one day she'll get kicked out, or that she'll be stuck in the role of a guest. No one wants to impede on others forever (though she did just fine at the Countess' house... Which is probably the only logical flaw. But she also knew she'd leave in a year, so there was a deadline and a purpose.) maybe I just relate because I've been in a similar situation

The part where she was fine at the countesses house threw me off too bcuz she was so comfy there as she knew sion would come for her eventually which is why it seems so unusual that now that the time has come she’s suddenly doubting her place in sions house. If becoming a burden was such a big concern for her why did she not think ahead during those years how she would live in his mansion as a guest so plan ahead a job for herself to not feel like a burden when the time of his return actually arrived. Think it’s just a poor device plot from the author tbh to get sion to comfort her later once he finds out

:/ I thought of it as her thinking she was gonna be kicked out or leave that estate eventually but before she had to go she wanted to learn how to do *some* kind of skill not her taking someone's job

The flaw I find is that she is fine asking the staff rather than Sion. This would've solved itself if she went to Sion from the start bc either he can ask the staff to teach her a skill or ease her mind that she won't get kicked out. I find it frustrating when authors make characters dumb for no reason. And like you said, she had no problem living as a guest at the countess'

You really said it all. I wanna like her so bad because the art and plot are so interesting, but she can never manage to not be dumb for 2 chapters back to back. She has died like 7 times and never once thought "I should learn a skill so I can live independently". But now all of a sudden she's getting ideas?? Just sit down and talk to your friend lady.
