The Top now perfectly fits this archetype for him. That's why he likes him and wants to be with him. Do you even remember that?
Sadomasochism doesn’t mean that he’s into literal abuse - mentally and physically. This and that are two complete different things.
What OP said is true though, Chaon did become A LOT softer and more pliant towards sehan. It’s for once his personality (being traumatized by sehan‘s injury + him being indeed really dependent on him) and also because of the plot. He used to fight back a lot but sehan kept putting him down and him needing protection doesn’t help the fact that chaon is like a doll being pushed around
What you said is true as well, but doesn’t really have to do with anything OP said. Sehan really fits into chaon‘s „ideal“ type and probably always did, but it has nothing to do with chaon changing for him …
I don’t mean to be rude btw Σ( ￣□￣||) I don’t agree with chaon‘s change being annoying and tacky but I think their dynamic has changed for the worse and it’s really wasted since chaon used to be a really strong and bratty character haha

this is ass and it’s sad that the author took a 360 and changed the uke’s entire personality for no fcking reason. It’s frustrating bc the ml is getting away with sm bullshit and I know for a fact the uke in the beginning of the story would have not dealt with the bs. Now the uke is a stereotypical mc who is a damsel in distress. He’s just a hollow shell who caves in the for nasty ml. That’s all his character is now, crying and sex. It’s tacky and annoying.
