After this chapter, ismion and mc get to talk. About his dreams ( the bridge ) and his looks & about ml.
There’s rumours going around that ml’s killed his half-brother, in which he was supposed to but was changed.
After that day, mc and ml fuck together.
Then after mc came back to the glensberg, everyone was panicking & etc.
Mc doesn’t know what was happening since he just came back.
Lisbeth ordered him to take her child and go to his room, then a child told him that all gates are to be locked, no one is allowed to enter & leave.
After he went to his room, lister comes and tells him what’s happening.
When mc was helping lisbeth’s child & playing with him,
Ml drawn his sword in the Khallak ( Karlac ) castle and literally & metaphorically decapitated the second head of triumvirate ( not sure what it is, either a group or whatever. )
Everyone there was off-guard and some collapsed, ml places the guy head in a silver platter & presented it to the Duke of khallak ( it says Karlac in the novel, but it’s probably the same but just diff name maybe ).
He bowed and offered it to be the traitor, as the duke screamed for to bring evidence, 30 witnesses came.
No matter how powerful the duke is, he can’t ignore over 30 witnesses.
( apparently the traitor was the right hand of the duke. )
During those 10 days, knights went into the mansions of high nobles that had been once part of the triumvirate. Starting with the young children, to the elderly, and clueless servants were all beheaded.
Those who tried to flee and save their lives were hunted by the knights.
The duke either exiled or beheaded those who showed as slight sympathy from the traitor’s side.
After 10 days, the gate finally opened and the heads of the traitors & their families were hanged.
After that some guy named enric ( probably a sorcerer who took aid/care mc before )
After that, the entire khallak ( Karlac ) castle was busy preparing for the grand banquet to welcome a great general.
