I started reading this and after like 20 chapters they didn't become boyfriends and didn't even kiss, so I need to ask will any of that happen in later chapters?

    The whole point of their dynamic so far is that they're clearly both into each other but can't see it. So nah, they're still teasing us with gazes to each other and being millimeters away from kissing, but not giving it to us.
