Why this may have happened

To me the previous chapter in this story was an unmasking of Andrim not only to Jorga but to the readers as well. Up until this point it was easy to forget that Andrim always was and has always been the villain. Since we the audience never saw him commit the evil acts in the past it is easy for us to focus on him targeting Nasha and her sister especially since they aren't perfect victims but now that the dog incident has happened Andrim has shown both Jorga and subsequently the audience just how evil he is. He has always been cruel keep in mind he FORCED the woman Jorga loved to marry him, his daughter was evil because he groomed her to be so (which is also why it was so easy for her to "transform", she had always been obedient to him so why would that change now), he was already embezzling though he is needlessly wealthy. Andrim up until the dog incident was palatable evil that is often seen in stories now the author has forced the audience to recognize that they too have been falling under the spell and manipulation of an irredeemable scumbag who cares only about himself. I would also like to point out that he didn't really NEED to reveal himself to Jorga, he could have let the man live in bliss loving something that is not real but he CHOSE to reveal the fact that Jorga was right originally, he was an evil and depraved man and yet he managed to fool and manipulate him into falling for him. Like Andrim said, Jorga has the ability to destroy the entire operation. He could offer Andrim's head on a silver platter and say that he found out the man was a part of a sex trafficking ring. Andrim has no reason to reveal himself other than the fact that he wanted to break Jorga by making him choose between what's right and the man he loves. He wanted to use this to break Jorga down and turn him into a metaphorical dog that I'd not just obedient but a slave to him (I say this because it is clear that Jorga was obedient even without this reveal and already did what Andrim said).

In short I feel like the dog incident happened in order to make the audience uncomfortably aware of whose perspective they have been reading from and exactly just how perverse and evil he is. It feels like a way to make people realize he never had a reason to be evil before and he doesn't now. He chooses to be needlessly cruel because he is cruel and if you didn't think he was then he managed to manipulate you just like Jorga.

Amazing comment yes. All these people commenting freaking out about how reprehensible this MC is are completely missing the point that thats EXACTLY what he is supposed to be. The author made that clear from chapter one that he's straight up evil. This pearl clutching is nonsensical.

But I thought someone was isekai into him? So to say he was always evil because of his past deeds is kinda wrong since it's 2 different people. Sure, the soul that got reincarnated might be as evil, but we never really see that in the story.

    he was NOT isekaid??
im not sure how so many people misunderstood/misremembered that, maybe the manga makes less of a point to remind readers this is the same person?
It's nkt someone else, this is Andrim himself remembering a past life where he played thru the story of his current life, giving him insight on the future.

Just reread chapter 1 again and you're right. It said he remembered his past life. I thought that might affect him as a person but ig new memories don't change a person sometimes.

Yeah it was a little confusing but Andrim was not isekaid or replaced by a new person, he remembered his previous life meaning the Andrim who did all the evil stuff previously is the same person we follow. The only thing he did was remember his previous life which to him was essentially seeing the future. That's why his personality doesn't change. The same person who lived his life evily is just now doing what he can so that he doesn't get killed if Nasha and her crew gets into power since that signals his death flag.
