That's exactly what pissed me off about this manga. Sumi only decided to leave once he realized that Shiratori was using him. He quit the club too just so that Shiratori would see him favorably. That was such a flawed way to make them end up together.
Utou deserved a smooth sailing not this... He literally deserved better. This should have been such a groundbreaking beta-omega if the omega had decided to stay with utou before getting marked OR if he had decided to ask for the unbonding without any found reason. The omega decided to leave the alpha's side only after he discovered the Alpha was using him cause of some grudge towards Utou and that honestly left me unsatisfied and pissed me off.
