In asian culture it’s the norm for rich parents to provide for their children. She asked for the purse because that’s her way of asking something a daughter would and not a dirty little secret who has to live in the shadows.

Not sure if I like this ngl. Is she his daughter? I suppose so. I'm guessing the money is for her mom, but really, a purse? Shouldn't you as a manager of marketing be able to get that by yourself? At that age, having to rely on your parent to buy you fancy stuff... never understood how people do that with a straight face. And I feel weird about him as well. Eh.
