Even though it fiction it’s things like this that normalise such horrible acts. If someone drew a manhwa that contained CP im sure no one would stand for it even though it just fiction. It’s not about being young or old it’s about knowing right from wrong. The problem with these stories is that rape it taken so light and will probably be brushed off, that’s why you’ll see so many new BL’s where the MC is literally falling in love with their rapists. Like why is it so hard to not sexualise and trivialise rape? ATP it doesn’t even add to the plot it’s just being used for shock factor and to satisfy people’s fetishes. It’s weird…
Even if it’s fiction, people will obviously still react. It’s a normal reaction to seeing rape. I still find it ew even after reading Yaoi for nearly a decade or more. Not that I complain about it directly in comments but if someone does, just IGNORE.
True. Why not just no rape 50/50 in BL. A good portion for 50% of no rape people and the other half for dark fantasies people.
I understand that the Mc being rxped was not nice to see , I didn’t like it it either and that final romantic scene was like …meh.. after that I was like, okey… but being *upset* about it’s another thing, like, it’s fiction and this is Yaoi, so if it really effected you, you are prolly too young to read this or cannot separate this matter from reality.
